PAINT WITHOUT FEAR

If you have ever stood in front of a painting afraid to make the next move, protected the part you love, or found yourself trying to make the work “good” instead of following what feels alive, these three days are for you.
Fear can become incredibly subtle in the studio. We become careful. We second-guess ourselves. We look outside ourselves for answers. And sometimes, without even realising it, we stop exploring.

Over three days, I want to help you begin changing that.
This is about noticing what happens inside you while you paint, learning to trust your own responses and giving yourself permission to make moves you might normally avoid.
DAY ONE: NOTICE
We will explore where fear, judgement and control begin to enter the painting, and how to recognise the moment you stop responding and start trying to get it right.
DAY TWO: RISK
We will work with the urge to protect and invite ourselves to make the move we would normally avoid. To disrupt, experiment and follow something without knowing where it will lead.
DAY THREE: TRUST
We will look at what changes when we stop forcing the outcome and begin listening differently. You will start to recognise what feels alive, what belongs to you and what becomes possible when fear is no longer making all the decisions.
What Will I Need?

You do not need to prepare anything elaborate.
Bring an unresolved painting or a surface you are happy to experiment on, your usual paints and brushes.
Most importantly, bring your curiosity.
This free immersion is an introduction to the deeper work inside The Intuitive Artist.

About DENI
