As Above explores the relationship between what is seen and what is felt, between the outer world and our inner landscape. Layers of colour, movement and mark-making create a sense of connection and reflection, as though one part of the painting is quietly echoing another. For me, it speaks to the idea that what is happening within us is often reflected in the world around us, and vice versa.
