7. Overseas Retreats and Services

Some DRA activities involve retreats, events or service providers outside Australia.

At the date of this policy, overseas recipients may include service providers in Indonesia. As DRA’s overseas retreat programme expands, other countries may also be involved and, where practicable, the relevant country will be identified in the information provided for that retreat or event.

Where necessary to organise and safely deliver an overseas retreat or event, relevant personal information may be shared with the venue and other service providers in the country where the retreat or event is being held.

This may include relevant booking, dietary, health, accessibility, emergency contact or travel information where that information is needed to provide the experience or support participant safety.

We may also use technology, website, email, cloud-storage and other service providers that operate or store information outside Australia.

Where personal information is disclosed overseas, DRA will take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances to ensure that the information is handled appropriately and in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

8. Email and marketing communications

If you have subscribed to hear from us, or where we are otherwise permitted to contact you, we may send you information about DRA programmes, workshops, retreats, artworks, events and other offerings. Where required, we will obtain consent before sending commercial electronic messages.

Our marketing communications will identify DRA and provide a simple way to unsubscribe. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us at hello@denirayneau.com. We will honour opt-out requests in accordance with applicable law.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending you necessary communications about something you have booked or purchased.

9. Website, cookies and analytics

Our website and online platforms may use cookies and similar technologies to help them function, understand how visitors use them and improve the experience we provide.

We may also use analytics or advertising tools to understand website activity and the effectiveness of our marketing.

You can usually control or disable cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect some website functions.

10. How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

We generally hold personal information electronically in our email, cloud, booking, payment, course and business systems, with limited paper records where required. Some of these systems are operated by trusted third-party service providers.

Depending on the information and how it is held, these steps may include appropriate access controls, password protection, secure technology systems and the use of reputable service providers.

No system or method of transmitting information online can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to our business and the information we hold.

We will also take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify personal information when we no longer need it, unless we are required or permitted to retain it.

11. Accessing or correcting your information

You may ask us to provide access to personal information we hold about you or to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.

Please contact us at hello@denirayneau.com.

We may need to verify your identity before providing access or making a correction.

There may be limited circumstances in which we cannot provide access to some information. If that happens, we will explain our decision where required.

12. Privacy concerns or complaints

If you have a question or concern about how DRA has handled your personal information, please contact us first so we have an opportunity to address it.
